That is the question I’m currently asking myself. In the beginning, I was really excited (keynote craze time), then bored by the limitations (no divx playback (I’m not ashamed to tell I WANT it), no recording, ridiculously small hard drive…), then there is this new phase I’m in: Wow, you can hack it, so there’s hope!

For once, some corporate news on this blog, but it’s really important enough.
One year after our creation, we are excited to announce today that we are being acquired by Webwag, a Web 2.0 customizabe start page.
We have worked hard to pioneer great mobile widgets and mobile search technologies that can truly enhance the daily mobile experience in the past months.
Joining forces with Webwag will provide mobease’s users and partners with an unparalleled experience ranging seamlessly from web to mobile and vice versa.
And it looks like we’ve already got our first customer
I’m more than happy to continue this adventure with our exceptional team that includes Thomas Landspurg, Sébastien Mathivet & now Franck Poisson.
Expect exciting news and products in the coming weeks.
This blog will definitely now be updated frequently
Florent.

It’s funny how this little thing has become popular in the last weeks. You can basically see it as an MSN status on steroids, with history, or SMS applied to blogging.
So here is how it works:
So, what makes it a peek? I think people are fed up doing long posts, it’s been designed to be as ubiquitously accessible as possible, it’s (almost) new!
Wouldn’t this make a great mobile widget? Stay tuned, more next week for more news about mobidgets & friends!
As always, give it a try to see if that’s your thing
