So, with no more speech and merchandising, here are the first round results:
Nicolas Sarkozy: 31,1 - Impressive Score!
Ségolène Royal: 25,8 - Not very big but she’s in the second round.
François Bayrou: 18,5 - Not too bad but not as good as expected.
Jean-Marie LePen: 11,5 - Much lower than 2002, a good thing.

Wow! Ten thousand (10 080 and counting) Widgets On Demand (WODs as we call them) have been created so far on Webwag. This figure is really impressive, especially given the fact that the best things around the WOD and Webwag are yet to come.
If you haven’t tried it, imagine capturing a part of a web page with a simple selection and transforming it in a widget in one click.
That’s what the WOD is, give it a try!

Short note to tell you about Russel Beatie’s new project: mowser (for mobile browser). Don’t be fooled by the name, it’s not a browser but rather a mobile browser helper that helps users browse mobile website in a smarter (and data optimized) manner.
A great service for the road runners we are!

Once again, a rising Web (1.0) & 2.0 star is acquired by one of the giants. The news is rapidly spreading over Techcrunch & GigaOM and the amount seems to be around $45 million…
Not too bad for a company that has only raised 1.5 million in Series A.
What’s interesting however, is that they’ve been around since 2001! This proves that companies that have a solid model & a strong team have the opportunity to see their success rewarded with great dollars
On the rationale of the acquisition, we still have to figure out how they will integrate their offer and technology with eBay’s properties.

For the second year, we’re happy to go be invited at Innovate, a great event where we will make some key presentations and announcements!
What’s funny is that last year, we were mobease and we are now going as Webwag. The showcase list looks like it’s going to be a great session once again.
So, if you drop by, don’t hesitate to contact us (Franck or myself).
