I discovered and installed yesterday a really cool product by the Techhsmith awesome team: The Jing Project. The small and clever app is more than handy to create snapshots and comes linked to the screencast.com service.
Here’s an sample video I created (only to realise in the middle it was also mic recording ;)).
And here’s a screenshot of the nifty little sun it (the UI of the app in fact) it puts on your desktop.

Best of all, it comes in Mac & PC flavors and it’s completely free.
I guess that Plasq’s yet to be released Skitch has a serious, free contender.
UPDATE: Their video insertion mechanism for blog really needs to be enhanced since it either takes all of the available room on the page or doesn’t resize properly… So I unembedded the video and simply put a link to it.

Just discovered the PLEO and I love it. The kid part in me tells I want one, now!
It’s loaded with features:
- IR Communications
- Color camera
- Many touch sensors (10 if I counted well)
- Double microphones (binaural)
- Rear speaker
See full specs here
As soon as I get my hands on the beast, expect a full review!

On this blog, just head to http://pitsharing.com with your phone or http://pitsharing.com/?mobi to see what it looks like.
From my point of view, it works well and starts to monetize quickly. it took me about 5 mins to set-up an account and include the id in the wordpress mobile plugin by Andy Moore.
Next step is to find a good way to reference my blog on mobile sites directory. Any hints?
So, if you have a blog, hosted on wordpress, spend a few minutes to spend give it a try.

After a rather long internal testing period, we’re annoucing Webwag clients, both web and mobile, for twitter.
We’ve carefully crafted them to deliver an exceptional user experience for both web and mobile users. You can log into your account, follow your friends’ twitts, send them replies by just clicking their names, set a refresh interval and more…
Just give it a try over here:
